Surgery for Infertility

Your fertility can be affected by endometriosis, fibroids, cysts of the ovary or scarring (adhesions) surrounding your uterus and tubes, or in your womb.

If surgery is appropriate, Dr. Robertson will perform a hysteroscopy and laparoscopy (key hole surgery) to systematically assess your uterus, and reproductive organs for any possible underlying causes for infertility. She will also perform tubal studies to ensure your fallopian tubes are not blocked.

Dr. Robertson will treat any structural factors that could be contributing to your difficulty to conceive.
