Fibroids

Fibroids (uterine leiomyomas or myomas) are growths of the uterus. The uterus is made of muscle, and fibroids grow from the muscle.

Fibroids can bulge from the inside or outside of the uterus. Depending on the location and size of fibroids, they can cause heavy menstrual bleeding, pain or pressure in the pelvis, or problems with pregnancy or infertility.

Dr. Robertson is able to provide safe and minimally invasive surgical techniques for removing fibroids. Medical and interventional radiological options of management can also be organised.
